Our experienced instructors bring the fun and excitement of Beginning Kayaking to life! Learn quickly and efficiently how to enjoy paddling your own kayak on the river and through the rapids of the American River. Beginners can bring your friends or family and learn the basics of boat control and river running, stepping up your skills quickly to eddy turns, river wave surfing and safely negotiating rapids and currents. We provide all the kayaking gear!

Calm Water Eco Tours and Lessons

Exploration  is always exciting, and we offer kayak tours to some of the best easy water paddling locations in Central California. Most of our kayaking excursions are suitable for beginners or more experienced paddlers alike. We provide all of the necessary paddling equipment, or you can bring your own at a discounted rate. Our guides/instructors have been paddling and exploring some of these lakes and rivers for over 30 years. No one  offers more experience  on the part of their staff, or a more personal approach to guiding you safely and easily through these unique eco tours. Join us for cool trips featuring wildlife viewing, bird watching, Full Moon Paddles, Perseid Meteor Shower weekend getaway, 50+ paddles and much more. We can accommodate paddlers young and old, so you can bring your family and kids, youth groups, scout troops or any small to large group that might enjoy and learn from such a unique experience.
